I thought you were my sunshine
but now your just the rain
dripping slowly down on me
to cover up my sorrowful cries

now you are the shadow of the night
that can never be my light again
you have caused the pain of many people
but mostly you have hurt me the worst

i never new i could be hurt like this
but now i know its true
you coved my eyes in darkness
and took away my light

there is nothing i can do
but to say that i miss you
no matter what you have done to me
your love will always stay in my heart

you have killed me yet made me stronger
so I'm glad we ended the way we did
I'll still think about you from time to time
