Trust

If only they'd just trust me,
maybe they'd come to see.
I'm not doing anything bad,
I just don't want to lose something I once had.
He is only a friend,
someone to whom I don't have to pretend.
But I know its him they don't trust,
probably because they think I only feel lust.
They don't know how i am around him,
but without him I'm sure my eyes are more dim.
Yes I know I deeply care,
but my parents just aren't fair.
We were only going to hang around,
but they just want to keep me bound.
