Always gonna be there,
There to hold your hand,
I've said these words,
A thousand times.
But now I'm sitting in the dark,
Waiting for your hand,
And I've never felt so lonely,
I've never felt so hurt.
Always gonna be there,
And I always have,
So in my hour of need,
Where have they all gone?
People who say they know me well,
Can't see past this facade,
And the words don't come anymore,
I just can not speak.
Why do they not notice,
That I'm scared to be alone,
Why do they not see,
That everyone leaves me in the end.
My heart is on my sleeve,
It has always been my problem,
So maybe I should stop my hopes,
Because no one will ever notice me.
