You told me that you love me, but then turn around and say, "We 'COULD' have been great."

You never really loved me, did you?

She said she wasn't like every other girl. She said she was different. She cheated on me, she broke my heart, she did everything she said she wouldn't.

What happened? Why am I still here, waiting for her?

She is now heartbroken, for stuff that we did together. And now she blames me. I wish I could take it all back, and just start fresh.

If it was possible, would she take me back? Would she love me again, like she used to?

In the beginning, I couldn't sleep because actually being with her was better than my dreams.
Now, I can't sleep because my dreams are so damn real, it always brings me to tears.
Why does love always have to end with heartbreak?

She says she can hear my heart crying for her, from 300 miles away. She says she can hear it breaking.

Why doesn't she wipe away the tears, mend my breaking heart, and calm my crying heart?

Sometimes, goodbye is the only way.

I wish we didn't have to go opposite ways. I wish we had more time together. I wish we didn't have to say goodbye. Most of all, I wish our hearts didn't have to break.

So much for wishing on a shooting star, right?
