Random encounter - Practice exercise

by Everlasting   Jan 13, 2015

In the road, I saw couples
like tu, too, two..
And I thought of you.
but nah,
who am I kidding?
It's not me
who belongs with you,

but I thought two, too, tu...

Then I said,

"nevermind,
what's up crew?!
Did anyone lost a screw?
take a look around you,
the sky is blue."

And at the moment,
I hardly knew, how to sew.
but today, I sew you,
I fastened my woes with glue,
and gave them to you,
like a wounded bird that knew
how to fly in snow
And then show wings elope
in two, flip flap,
flapping our perfumes

you know, still in two,
with feathers that say Hello's,
that go in search for warmer lops,
to the sun, as the wind blows,
let me quote, "In love,"

you know, so and so,
toe to toe, in a road
that is lost,
forlorn, unknown,
to the world,
but just known to us,

oh ...
oh ...
oh ...

this love,
It's a major overflow, a flood,
that goes to and fro, back and forth,
In my heart.
Now my status quo is forgone,
Alone.

I said to a dog, "what's up?"

Then I screamed:

"Let it rain. Let it snow,
Let the sky be blue,
Let it just go,
two to two... a bark and a tree,
so loud, the crowds.
Coming through. Coming through."

I walked in Streets that grow
and grow with frost,
then when I saw you...

at the road

You said, "Hello, Let's elope towards the sun."

and I froze.

Oh wowww... Remind me again why I love your poems so much.Well remind me that you haven't cast some weird spell on me and that I genuinely love this poem. ;)

This poem was really beautiful to read. You know, there is this really different writing style you've got I feel which just leaves me awestruck.
I just love the way you rhyme. But truthfully I found this poem funny so why don't you put it in the funny poems category.

And these lines, oh lol....i loved them.

    "nevermind,
    what's up crew?!
    Did anyone lost a screw?
    take a look around you,
    the sky is blue."
