Why should I hide my feelings for you?
Can't I just announce how I really feel?

Why I am asking myself these questions?
Am I starting to lose my mind?
Will I never have the courage to ask
Or will I keep finding myself hiding behind?

Could you speak of things unnoticed,
like the very breathe you take?

Should not you remember the days,
of which you longed for love?
Can't you recall what she looked like.
Brown hair or blonde?
Blue eyes or green?

Since when did you forget
that I'm the woman of your dreams?
Can't you tell I smell like her?
Did the details contain memories?

Love, will you tell me of your heart
and all the things you've failed at?
Would you speak to me in fondness,
or push away my words? My actions?
What about my questions?

Oh, can't you find out for me,
if the love we share is true?
Or do I seem a bit controlling?
Am I far too much for you?

Mother's Anonymous

Am I not the one you know,
The voice that heralds your worth,
Established in your shadow,
Did I not conceive you at birth?

And was I not your purest lover,
When you felt alone and scared,
And I held close you and brother,
Did I not seem well prepared?

Tell me unfaithful child,
Where did I lose you?
Did I hold you too close and mild?
Or was it my worth sanctioned in your smile?

When last did I look upon you?
When first did my love annoy you?
Son will you continue your scold,
Will this be forty years alone in the cold?

Shall I revel in the memory of you my boy?

I really like this idea for a contest, something I haven't seen before. I like the restrictions, restrictions breed creativity. Here is my poem, it's called my end.

So is this where we are now?
Is this where we want to be?
Are we charming our way out of
Something we fail to see?

Is it a poem made of questions?

I know that the contest has not been judged yet and for that I'm sorry. I made the end date my birthday and of course I forgot. Plus I have been super busy and have not been able to get on the computer. The contest is no closed and winners should be posted by the end of the week if I can get to it.
