    Wishing On A Star (Song)
    by Italian Stallion

    Here I am all alone,
    Wishing on a star.
    When everyone comes home,
    It's me on my own.
    City lights now glowing,
    From vibrant red to green.
    Snow gently falling,
    A wonderful sight to see.

    When Christmas comes to town,
    You'll hear a joyful sound.
    Children run and play,
    How I'd wish they stay.
    Music playing loud,
    With families all around.
    It's hard to be alone,
    With all this Christmas cheer.

    Letters to Santa,
    Children always write.
    Hopping for the best toys
    To come overnight.
What a thrill it must be on the night of Christmas Eve
    Knowing Santa's on his way.

    Waking up early,
    Running to the tree.
    Great anticipation,
    I can't wait to see.
    The family gathers round
    Happy as can be.
That's all I want when Christmas comes to town.

    Snow of July

Tracing my fingers in the snow
Looking up into the night sky
    Watching the stars aglow
Shivering in the cold of July

Ironic how you said you'd never leave
Not until the ground froze in the summer heat
Ironic still that I always believed
Yet I sit here, my very being incomplete

Your passing struck a chord in me
A song that brings tears to my eyes
And when we scattered your ashes into the sea
I still could not speak the word "goodbye"

As I reach toward the sky, I grasp only air
Hoping for stars, but meeting only the wind
As I sink into the deepest pit of despair
I sit here wishing for it all to end

As I whisper the words I refuse to say
My tears freeze to my face as I reminisce
A life that faded into the grave
I allow myself to fall into the abyss

    Goodbye, my best friend
I will no longer pretend that you are here
    Goodbye, my cousin
I will no longer hope for you to reappear
    Goodbye, snow of July, goodbye

    Found You(Triolet)

    I have finally found you;
The lost star from long ago.
    Look hasn't my dragon grew.
    I have finally found you.
Through snow and the blizzards that blew,
And this star is what I have to show.
    I have finally found you;
The lost star from long ago.
