I'm in the mood for some serious commenting.
Buttt thought I'd make you work for the comments. ;)

10 random songs chosen from shuffle.
You have to either include the title of the song within the poem, or the line in which I've chosen for you.
You cannot use the title of the song for the title of the poem.

It'll be judged on how creative you are.
That means structure and title, as well as the poem itself.

    2 winners;
First place will get 5 comments.
    Second will get 2 comments.

    So Judgemental ~ Kimberley

Tell me why do you have to be so,
    So damn judmental?
If you had asked for it, you know,
I would have given you the world.
So don't sit there and point fingers,
    Don't you critisize,
And don't you dare try to lie to me,
Because I see the truth in your eyes.
Today I learned my worst nightmare,
    It's your sweetest dream,
And secrectly you're laughing at me,
While I'm just trying not to scream.
And you just said that you're always,
    Wishing I'd just die,
I guess it's all about honesty right now,
So secretly I always wanna see you cry.
Tell me why do you have to be so,
    So damn judmental?
And why can't you just believe me,
I really did spend days waiting for your call.

So that's it. :) P.S. I absolutley LOVE this song. I'm glad you had it as part of the contest.

    The Scene Is Dead

    Blood stains on the ground
    The nightingale makes no sound
Nature weeps the loss of its own
Her cold heart turns to stone

    Scenery painted no more
Beauty has only death in store
    Be still tonight, my nightingale
For our lives are so frail

No pack to bury my loved ones
    Alive only in my fictions
In the end, you are always here
I remember you with a lonely tear

    My World

    Held up so high
not even air reaches his lips.
    Blushed but not bruised.
    Red but still pale.
    A natural beauty to behold

    Such a rare phenomenon
that I hold so close to my being.
    Reflected upon bold waters
lies the face of this boy
    One look and worlds collide
just one... is all it takes.

    I looked once--
my world has never been the same.

    His face outlines the simple
    dreams I have. Flashbacks from
    past views create such
    promising memories for
    my mind. He smiles and
    that's enough to make
    me snatch the heart
    from my chest
    wrap it with eternal love
    for him to keep.
    The brightness cascading
    fom his perfect smile
would take the place of my
    beating heart.

Our love is a special one
not even death can break the
    bond we have, There is
no heaven or hell. Evil or good.
Just me and him. Him and me.
    Today, tomorrow, forever.

I spent so many arctic nights
locked inside myself, afraid to live,
to love, to exist. Until he said
    "roll down your window
    the world's out there."
    Such a meaningless statement
at the time. A blank verse--
    now harmony has formed
    and profoundness has surfaced.

    I understand the meaning of
    "the world's out there"
now that I have him, I see the world.
I have the world. My window will
    never stay rolled up now.

    Concealed Madness.

    Somewhere over the rainbow --

    Unbelievable
    how they twist reality,
    allowing us to succumb
    into this fictitious mind frame.

    Breathtaking,
    that simple phrase assumed
    for the sake of concealment;
    forever reminding these humans
of the illusion we cannot live in.

    Somewhere over the rainbow --

    Astounding
    how in this world
    trouble really does melt
like lemon drops as we try
to rid of reality with our drugs.

    Crazy
how I see no pot o' gold or
    leprechauns dancing by
my feet as I beg to escape
    this madness.

Wow. I was listening to that song by the Beatles when I wrote this poem. And i just happened to use that exact phrase. So I guess i'll enter it lol. Here it is:

    One Last Goodbye

I'm finished. I'm done. I have nothing left to give.
I cant sleep. Cant eat. I've lost my will to live.
They say talk is cheap, so I bought every word she said.
All the promises she made, just turned out lies instead.
Forever and for Always, that's what I always told her.
But I find myself alone as these winter nights grow colder.
I tried to move on, time and time again.
But her sweet seduction continually drew me in.
Exactly how she felt, I never really knew.
I thought I read the signs, I guess they just weren't true.
I loved her so much, even more than I can say,
But to her, Love was such an easy game to play.
I know I've said goodbye, a couple times before.
But I have to say, I have just one more.
It wont be a letter, nor a poem made of prose.
My last goodbye, will be a single tear-stained rose.
A beautiful white rose, It's what she'll always be.
A symbol of my love, and what she meant to me.

I'll enter, but first a question: is it one person per song? Or can we write a poem on something that somebody else has already done?

EDIT: nevermind, I just saw the "taken" next to some of them.

I'll take "Girl With One Eye" - Florence and the Machine. :)

    Tainted
    by dollwithafrown

Woke up one day; just didn't feel the same,
coal on my shoulders mixed with buckets of pain,
for the first time in my life, yellow didn't look so pretty
vodka doesn't stain, y'know; let's get drunk in this city.

Woke up next to a smoky breath looker,
on my chest, lipstick paints the word: "hooker",
    reflecting in the mirror, it's hard not to hurt;
my reputation's getting clouded with dirt.

Making a vow to sort myself out,
sure I can do it, no room for self-doubt,
    but stories don't end the way you want them to;
you can wish on a star but it won't come true.

It's a Wednesday night, everyone is in bed,
but I head into town; rather party instead,
paint my lips rosy, blush my cheeks pink,
and can't forget the powder lying by the sink.

    --

The night is ending badly, how do I get home?
I decide to walk the streets, this city I will roam,
but nothing is familiar, I don't know anything I see,
everything is blemished and ruined, everything and me.

    An Action of Salvation

    Love is a time machine
    that entangles around your mind
    bringing the past into full view;
    when golden sunflowers sang
and we would dance swiftly upon
    their silk and able shoulders.

    I remember the winter nights
    that never extinguished our passion
    though cold winds raged on;
    darkness didn't dare enter
    for our two souls combined
    ignited into blissful ecstasy.

    Love is a time machine
that chokes your will to live
    showing you the formidable future;
    where dead roses dwindle
    and death is heard everywhere
    calling out your names.

    I see happiness drifting
    into piles of empty promises
    that never acquired value;
    dissatisfaction develops
    and clogs our mute throats
    warning us of the inevitable.

    Love is a time machine
    that reveals provocative secrets
    for the better or for the worse;
don't let this gift be wasted
    by deceiving and coveting
forgive and live in present times.

    Written For A Contest.

I have been wanting to write a poem about this for a long time, at first people say that love is an emotion when indeed it is not. Love is an action, doing what is best for your beloved. I also wanted to convey the message that although at first your past might be haunting and your future look cloudy, have hope, stay strong and practice forgiveness. Thank you for taking the time to read, I hope you have enjoyed this piece.

I'll try to join. But I cant guarantee it, since I'm really busy at this time. But if I do enter, I think I'd like to do number 1) The Beatles. I'll try to get one in if I can and hopefully soon.
