Here Is Mine, I wrote this in under five minutes, enjoy!

    Liberty Dust-

Walking barefoot has never felt this good,
    to throw restrictions further
    and burden a bloated river.
    I run with cold toes
    planting journeys on wet farmland
    yet I can taste everything.
    Home.
    I don't have one
    but wherever you are
    that's where I will be.
Do not take this dawn for granted
    because when the sun sighs
    I can discern your breath
    among the berries and shimmer.
    The dancing birds show me
    I am heading
    towards perfection.
    I am crossing destiny
    but it carries me
    into a lighted ballroom.

    Spitting Venom.

He spits venom on reckless minds.
    The sly snake chokes me,
    And strangles me with lies.
    Its fangs pierce me,
It goes deep into my skin.
    The deceit, it burns me.
    It eats me up inside,
    With delusions enforced,
    That confuses my mind.
The bite worsens, the saliva stings.
    I become unfocused.
    With no sense of direction,
    I see hallucinations.
    With every terrifying scare,
    I know they aren't real.
But I beg to the snake,
    To save me from fear.
    He grabs my face,
    And with my eyes traumatized,
    He smirks at this sight,
    And reassures me it's alright.
    I know it's a lie,
But this pain I can't bear.
I let him spit his venom,
Though I know it's his plan.
    To relieve me from terror,
    Only to bite me again.
With every hiss of his mouth,
I am tangled in his tongue.
    The snake, it whispers,
    I believe it each time.
    His words, so poisonous.
    His venom is strong.
I tried sucking out the poison,
    And tasted the truth.
    This concoction that was sweet,
    Like sugar in my mouth,
    Was all but a trap.
    This venom is now bitter,
But it lingers in my mouth.
    He spits on my face,
And kills me with his shrieks,
    Oh how naive I was.
    This traitor was unnoticed.
He spits his words of venom,
    And watches you crumble.
    He watches you ache,
    Then laughs when you break.
And shoots out his final words.
As venom drips from his lips.
    He'll whisper you cruelty,
    So tyrant and betraying.
He will admit all his lies,
    Then confess his one truth.
    You are pathetic and weak.
You were your own bait to my plan.
    I got what I wanted,
    And now I'm moving on.
    To someone as foolish,
    As senseless as you.
So he finds a new prey,
    And reels her in,
    With whispers of his tongue,
    Spitting venom of lies.

I have another one if that is alright.

    Slowly-

I have picked fruits of the finest love
for a man who I may never meet.
I imagine we will have our fill
    drinking natural sweetness
from the patterns of true color.
I may know you or you might
    be a perfect stranger
    but I do grasp understanding
    we will stop time soon.
I will wait until I am called
    because running through thorns
    is not worth instant satisfaction,
in time a frail rose will appear
    and you and I hand-in-hand
will care for petals of the soul.

    Raspberry Tongue

Your lips are candy coated hell,
made with all of the best ingredients.
Sweet and sour at the same time,
hot and cold; twice the burn.

Hands made of the finest there is,
perfect to deceive little ol' me.
Soft when gliding across my skin,
rough like sandpaper to my heart.

Those eyes are puddles of liquid love,
inviting me to take a dive into them.
    Shining brightly under the stars,
burning a hole through my heart.

That tongue; a deep shade of red,
it tastes of the ripest raspberries.
I inhale a sweet scent with my mouth,
so sweet, you'd never guess it was fatal.

    When She Was Good
    (if I can)

    When She Was Good

Behind those eyes of emerald green,
    Lay a mind so obscene,
Stolen from a cradle of white,
She was exposed to a world of night,

It seems When She Was Good,
    Only she could
Dazzle the stars with her charm and wit,
And slither through the darkness without a hit.

    But when she was bad,
    The angels were mad,
    Screaming her name,
    In both pity and shame

    Until only deception was left,
And then she lay down to accept her death.

    8/7/10.

    Nicotine Dreams
    by Spirit

Let me ride on bliss colored waves
    Then be poured into oblivion.
Eyes on skin, lips make friends
    With hands . . . everywhere
    Living for such moments

Lying in the darkness a flawless imperfection
No Venus De Milo, no Statue of David
    Simply flaunting worshiped faults
    while tinged in raw desire.

    Swimming toward pure ecstasy
I shun the Dawn's new claim.
    Keeping stable arms around me
Yearning the sun to burn the day
    I want only now

A now awakened body fights to drive sanity away
Let the demon retreat into a crevice
that's enveloped by life's mundane circumstances
    never to escape again

But the viscous cycle must repeat
    Dependency forbids my leave
    Pleasure's only an hourglass
While love is in nicotine dreams

    Sandalwood & Cinnamon ~ By Kimberley B.

    Sandalwood and cinnamon
The smell of your sunburned skin
It was the rights of summer
    And we were barely seventeen
    We lived for the moments
    By the waters colored aquamarine
    New cut grass and sage
My favorite novel had sand in every page
Each kiss we shared under the sun
    And every intimate touch
Led up to the nights together
    That were always too much
    Sandalwood and cinnamon
One night in your car I let you in
You and I swore to eternity
But it was just a fleeting moment
    The leather irritated my skin
But that night was heaven sent
    Rosemary and thyme
The smell on you that wasn't mine
    We were young back then
And we gave it all up to the feeling
    But I still don't regret
The virtues that we were stealing
    Sandalwood and cinnamon
A trace of you on the winter wind
And I'm glad that I let my summer love in

    The Secret Jungle

    I can't keep fighting myself
    armed with nothing but
regret. I said I was sorry
    and they landed me here
    in this secret jungle inside
    my mind.

    These thoughts--
    my thoughts are like
    animals. Lashing out at
me from the depths of the night.
Coming at me from all corners
of the horizon and I have only
    one defense mechanism.

    waking up.

What happens when I can't wake
up and I'm lost inside this place.
A secret place created by the inner
    workings of this twisted
    brain of mine. Lost
    forever with creatures
    too strong and too wild
    for me to tame.

    I can't ask for help,
    send out flames
    to signal my destruction.
    No one can save me
    from myself.
