What I'm trying to say is . . .

Let's change this up a bit.
Instead of writting poems around the title, I want you as poets to write a poem with one of the following 'complete' quotations inserted.

Ok i have finished mine

Amid the stormy ocean, wind keeps straining
under a low pale sky, that's heavily raining
where the fear of the water is loudly waning
away from a shore, that looks like a wet painting

but

I am not afraid of storms for I am
learning how to sail my ship -
and where danger, keeps wavering
the roaring of the thunder shall never
hear me not twice nor once complaining

and down the oceans deep dim expanse
like a bold mountain in proud enhance
my ship will stand,& sail with continuance ..
Will make from the lightning sweet romance
and the angry waves shall be my ships dance

Lovers

she said just

people in the paintings
to hear. His only

He knew he had
melted himself into

Colours so vibrant they seem to glow surrounding me,
Encompassing me within their warm embrace.
You bring about the sun, the stars, the moon
To shine down on me and light up my face.
I draw all the curtains closed so I might see my reflection
Amidst the jagged shards of light bouncing off of you.
I train my gaze on your eyes sparkling in this chaos
But like an illusion you make as apparitions do.
You seem so close, I can almost touch you, skin to skin.
I need your warm hand to set the light within me free,
But when I reach for you the colours fade away
Into utter darkness that slowly enfolds me.
I close my eyes for I don't want to see without your colours,
Because ((nothing is more sad than the death of an illusion.))
Like trying to catch light in the palm of your hand,
It's something you can't get over, can't get done.

What I Am Is Brave

I'm not funny,
I hate the way they laugh,
It makes me feel so worthless,
And its all on their behalf.

Just because I'm different,
And I stick out from the crowd,
Doesn't mean you should make fun,
You shouldn't be so proud.

As I sit here, dreaming,
Letting all their words get to my head,
I have an epiphany, redeeming,
All the thoughts unsaid.

I can be different and cool,
True to myself to the tenth,
If thats what being different is,
Then you could call it beautiful.

So laugh all you want Society,
And Ill still beat to my own drum,
The only thing I ask you to remember is;

You lose it if you talk about it... that's all I know.
Seal my mouth shut so these words don't slip from my numb lips.
Bite my tongue because silence seems so much easier
than retracing my steps to see where I went wrong.
Somewhere along the way you led me astray
and now that I'm found
I don't want to remember being lost.
Scars remind me that the past is real but words clarify.
So seal this mouth shut before it says too much.
Bite my tongue against the words of memory
and pretend like they aren't haunting me.
Let's go back to the start; no, no that would be too hard.

If I put the puzzle pieces together I might fall apart
