    Temperance of Expecting Parents
    -----------------------------------------

    Forgive and move on,
We will sing a new song.

    - The past does not matter,
    - Listen! a little pitter patter.

    We will lead by example,
    with a moderation sample.

    - For if we are prudent,
    - She will be a good student.

    We will nurture her ability,
    and teach her humility.

    - Such a positive influence
    - will encourage congruence.

    Our love will be like water;
    Yielding for our daughter.

    - Will you try to abstain?
    - I will learn to restrain.

    I will...good night my dear...

    - Honey...why the long tear?

    I'm overwhelmed with joy....

    - Maybe next we will have a boy.....

    >>>>>>>Fossils Of Patience

    All June I instill roses in streams;
I end up next season collecting
    fusty leaves!
    To retract or implant, disappointment
    distracting my eyes

*But there is somebody within me
    always transcending reality
    A companion of wisdom
    yet a victim of truth

    Asked too many questions
    waited too long
    whenever I held my pen
    to write down my shameful
    resignation
    somebody holds me back..

    *Planting a new mysterious journey
    Igniting hope through me..
    A companion of nature
    yet a victim of life

    Still years pass me by,
    from June to June ;
    weeping more goodbyes..
    For each rose that festers
    too soon.

*As I completely lose the voice
that once used to arise in me..
    A companion of patience
    yet a victim of wrath

-It's only as you start losing hope-
    you start losing your path-

SOrry :P maybe disappointing but that's what I got.

    Envy Please

  • silvershoes

I'm going to unreserve the vices that have been [TAKEN] and open them up for everyone. The only way to reserve a title now is to write a poem for it before anyone else gets the chance!

    Imperfect Envy

    I had a perfect childhood,
and that's the only way I can justly describe it.
I still have a perfect life,
It's wrapped in hug covered paper,
    topped with bows of assurance.
    I have a perfect family,
    lovingly stern, but surprisingly goofy.
    My world is prefect.
    Amazingly perfect,

    Nauseatingly perfect,
    A disgusting torment of perfection
    Perfect, perfect, perfect, perfect
In fact it's so perfect, I hate it.
    Where is the danger?
    The misgivings?
    Where are the mistakes
    marked from uncertainty?

I can't write about life lessons when I've had none.
can't feel true joy without knowing of real sorrow.
I have never been afraid, or hurt
    never confused, or even rebellious.
I have never stood up for myself,
    because I've never had to.
I'm a little porcelain doll yearning
to break out of this perfect box,
    that circumstance put me into.

I want to live my life to the fullest,
not suffocate in this glass tomb.
I want to breath the same carbon polluted air
that the rest of the world gets to live with.
Let me break this porcelain image,
so that I may walk among reality.

Sorry I took so long, I was away last week.

    Lust Filled Sighs

Lips trailing kisses upon her skin, staring at his pretty face
Euphoric for a few moments, later she'll feel disgrace
Silky skin, meeting silky skin; bodies wrapped together
Lust filled sighs envelop them, innocence lost forever

Once more she's lying on her back, clothes strewn all around
All self-respect has vanished, dignity nowhere to be found
As hands roam all over her, she's wondering how she got here
Left all alone now, for friends and family have disappeared

Rolling in a fevered embrace, as she quietly whispers his name
Later she'll be filled with guilt, her purity she can't reclaim
As his hands clasp her wrists she knows that this is wrong
Here in this bed with him, it's not where she belongs

And when he finally leaves, he'll slip on his wedding ring
For all this was to him, was just a little harmless fling
Deep down, they both know what they do isn't right
Yet, they both manage to sleep throughout the night

She never meant to fall for someone else's guy
But she just can't help herself, normal rules don't apply
Her hands grip his shoulders, gasping as he penetrates
Tomorrow she'll regret this, but it's simply just too late

    You bring me down,
with words of hate, spew words of lies
to bring on my demise for it's come too late.

You toss me to the wolves,
to rip my flesh, and torture my soul.
You don't allow me to be whole, completely depressed.

So I had to let you go,
becaues you stole my heart, but I'll keep my pride,
for it will always be mine, gives me a fresh start.

    The wolves can't take me.
Let them charge and hoard, I'll fight them off
untill they stop, my pride is my sword.

My pride will allow me to fly,
to soar over skies, and bring other with me.
Allows my soul to be free, and to realize, you're just a guy.

    Love's Wrath

It woke like an angry beast
    Frothing at the mouth
    Vengeance belongs to the heart
    It's such a narcissist

    Blood flows swiftly
Bathing hills of lies in its glory
    Drowning them
Choking them with the rage of pain

    Betrayal cutting deep
    Destruction seems inevitable
    Fury grows in madness
    Nothing is madder than love...
