She's Like The Wind

A pearl moon shines high in
the indigo sky, slowly giving way
as clouds blind it's sight.

Thunder disperses the calm
waking chaos to scathe
the unexpected, as lightning
cleaves the night.

Torrent winds tease my skin
with sensual promising
Blowing open the locked doors
of my heart.

Emotions are freed to scatter without
license, like leaves in the fall. Caught
up in a whirlwind then rest quietly
on the ground turning to brittle remains.

Damage absolute she moves on,
leaving behind ruins of passion
broken branches of forever. Hunger
fed, leaving behind an empty vessel.
------"she's like the wind"

Core of my Addiction

Freedom
To love and be loved
Be able to accept it
To live inside of it
Safe and warm

Independence
As not to be held prisoner
Even by love
Nor any other emotion
Unless it be passion

Peace
Both in the waking world
And hidden
Deep inside my mind
Where time stands still

Liberation
Self imposed bonds
Broken
Revolution against fear
Pure release

Unrestrained
Wanton desire
Inhibitions non-existent
Unconstrained fire
Free to burn

Happiness
In mind, of heart
Through body
In spirit

Toxic

Do I know that you're toxic?
How could I miss it, love?
Ever since you've popped
into my life I've been addicted,
losing sleep staying up for you
long nights and too short days.

Don't I know why you're toxic:
Every wild tour of the town
never knowing ahead of time
whose place we wind up at
yours, mine, or someone
we only just met this night.

Don't I know that you're toxic!
You prove it too me every chance
you bring it with full Monty
for all to see where lie my dreams
that you rapidly flip to nightmare
just keeping up I'm losing ground.

Don't you know that you're toxic?
You're killing more than this love,
you're killing the one you care for
wasting away and hollow eyed,
so either save me before expiring
or leave me to go in peace.

2 more days to submit poems,,,please guys,,,whoever hasn't submitted their poems yet please do so

Hi I hope you guys don't mind but their are 2-3 people who have not submitted their poems yet therefore I have extended the deadline to the end of October and you will have the results soon :)

Well this is really not a good way to behave .. If they had reserved poems' title before reservation deadline , then they should also have submitted their desired poem before submission deadline.. Pathetic ! They , this way, didn't even let others write poems of the titles they chose .. hah ! and you are keep on extending submission deadline ..

Sorry don't mind Inoocent Fairy I have no such thoughts to annoy you.. but these people are really lazy

Aw thank you,,,you do not annoy,,,you spoke ur opinon which is perfectly fine,,,i'm sure something happened,,,only 10 more days to wait and no longer,,,i think i'll start review on the poems i have already so it will be ready by the time the dealines up,,,
