Decision

Stuck in the middle
trying to decide
which path should she take
the open one or where she'd have to hide

one path is full of sunshine
with birds singing and blue skies
she'd be allowed to be herself
there would be no lies

the other is hidden
covered in darkness
but what she wouldn't give
to always feel that soft caress

the first is inexperienced
but loves her for who she is
the other is well learned
but she questions his motives

now wondering what to do
she sits with a war in her mind
trying to decide between her head
or the heart that is blind
