Distracted

I want to write a poem
As I sit here all alone
But the TV is on
A man is singing a song
It's a little distracting
With his terrible acting
And a little confusing
Though the music is soothing
I still want to write
As I sit here tonight
How do I say
The sky is turning grey?
The rain drops are falling
A the thunder is calling
Lightning now strikes
My TV!! oh yikes!!
My TV is now dead
As I sit and scratch my head
Well now I can write
As I sit here tonight
But now I'm too tired
I guess I'll retire
I'll go to sleep now
Good night
I close my brow.

    Ok what?? it was funny but confusing. so you wanted to write a poem, but your t.v died and then you got tired and retired? hahaha that's cute..

    some of it didn't make sense at all and the way you just connected all this elements around you for a laugh.. it was nice i guess that's what made the poem cute and funny..
