Trapped in an unbearable box
full of people who wait on you
to drop, fall, fail
so they can rejoice on your failure
believing that somehow they're better
than you.
Lies spoken and told
spread amongst the small community
chatting, whispering, snickering
every disgusting rumor they can
come up with to bring you down
with them.
They watch your every
move waiting for you to trip as they
laugh, praise, continuing
to behave as if they have
nothing better to do than discuss
your life.
