I Watched You Walk Away

I stood there .. in an empty space ..
where our memories were all I could see..
how I lived those memories again ..
how I found myself again when I found you ..
how beautiful it was to see you everyday with your exquisite unique smile that turned my world upside down..
I couldnt feel it though ..
the warmth of your existence..
as I stood in that empty scary place ..
I felt cold ..
alone..
I needed you by my side ..
to remind me of the beauty of us ..
how we were joined together ..
how we completed each other with our simple and unique words..
I blacked out ..
couldn't remember it anymore..
couldnt feel it too..
we were two people that became one ..
but now its just me alone ,, without you ..
I stood there ..
waiting for me to take either a step forward and begin a new path ..
or a step backward and stay stuck on the fact that your gone..
a cold breeze came passing by and pushed me towards the entrance ..
as I looked on the other right side ..
there you were ..
walking away ..
I wonder how it feels to leave me behind..
to just leave all our memories behind..
you walked away ..
until I couldnt see you anymore ..
I didnt reach out for you ..
or run behind you and stop you ..
I had no strength ..
something stopped me from going through that path ..
gravity held me down ..
and stuck my feet to the ground..
I felt confused..
did I want you back ?
or it didnt make a difference?
I cried for your return..
screamed your name..
and shouted out loud : I MISS YOU !!
you didnt hear me ..
was it that you were too far away ?
or because you didnt want me back ?
or was it because your ears were impaired from the pain of loosing me ??
I wish I knew..
my heart tried to forget that you were gone ..
so I gave a drug to make it numb and forget all the pain that kept it bleeding ..
it worked..
I ran as fast as I could to that entrance ..
and found a door ..
opened it ..
and found light ..
which is a new beginning .. a new start ..
I asked my heart if it remember anything ..
its respond was ..
keep me beating with this light ..
I felt relived ..
and smiled ..
and kept on walking ..
and discovering whats hidden behind all the doors in my life..
