Breathe

by Twisted Heart   Feb 5, 2009

A shutter of a heartbeat
Slowly thumping in the night
Restless dreams awaken
Up in the tainted sky
Forever fates to wander
Among the moonless waste
A moment there in passing
Broke soul is now encased.

No breath to pull from heartache
No oceans lapping shores
When minds are left to wonder
Of dreams that are no more
Take hold the wreakage lying
On the heart that's left to bleed
Draw up the failing courage
And....

Breathe

Yet another great poem from you, this is so true...heartbreaks, sadness and so much in life but the only thing we end up is our breaths....
