Bespeak This Heart

by Twisted Heart   Feb 9, 2009

Bespeak this heart of dreams be told
Upon the night to beacon thee
To send a love that goodness holds
From tender times a soul receives.
Perchance to tarry in the quest
And harness hearts that hold the vows
No freedom twines of love confessed
When time shoots true and faith allows
The heart in solemn humble lies
With dreams upon the stars to wish
As surely as the soul should hide
Upon the crest of moonlight's kiss

Come now upon this night of nights
Speak true this heart in love of kind
As moonbeams swirl in tuned starlight
And love of soul now crosses minds
Break down the reefs that time has drawn
Among the dressings of the day
Don't waste the time until it's gone
As hearts and souls are being played
Rest true in knowledge that you seek
That faith and hope in love will hold
As stars entwine thy soul in sleep
And heart bespeaks of dreams be told
