Symbolism

by Shannon Loter   May 13, 2009

There's a lachrymose flower
at the top of the hill
the wind keeps on blowing
but the flower stays still

there's nothing around
not a house or a tree
shes completely alone
and just wants to flee

to uproot and move
to a garden or pond
somewhere tropical and pretty
where her stay can be long

but her leaves are too short
she she cant dig herself free
so she just sits and she waits
and watches the sea
