My goodbye

one of my favorites

This was a really good poem and I loved the emotion in it and the rhyme was good though it seemed somewhat forced. The text of the poem was true though that good byes are not the end but I miss you until next time. Good job.

When i come to the end of my road
and the sun has set for me
you got to let me go
why cry for a soul thats free
*The inner rhyme of "why cry" i think is a little too simple, and messes with the flow a bit
goodbyes are not forever
goodbyes are not the end
they simply mean i'll miss you
untill we meet again
* Very well done

Great poem, though I wish you had lengthened it by another two stanzas, let the emotion shine
