Writer's Block

by silvershoes   Oct 14, 2009

Tapping my ring finger
To the beat of
Line flashing
Let it linger
Write love
No, still stashing

[Backspace key]
To the beat of
Line flashing

Wait.

For a second I had it -
Caught a glimpse of my mind!
[Rewind]
For a second I had it!
I saw it!
I felt it!

But that is the end,
It is lost.

I lost it.

I laughed at first at how ironic it was and how glad I am that I'm not like that. And then I realized that that is indeed like a summary of me with writer's block... it wasn't as funny then :P But really good :) 5/5

I think this might be the most creative poem I've ever read...

Rate/comment, please! (not really, just poking fun at hilarious people on this site...in fact, you don't even have to read it if you don't want to. I just thought I'd give you a little insight into how different our thoughts can be expressed in poetry sometimes.)
