The Life Of A Prince

by huddy   Mar 28, 2011

My life has heights and depths,
And iam a tree by the river bank
I rise up early like an eagle
And the Southern winds lead me home
I dont have a belly to eat
But I have a heart to conceive
I dwell in the sacred of all places
And my song is that of a Princess

Years have indeed gone by,
But my path still shines
I had it all when I was young
& I still have it till now
Iam my Father's son
Born of a Royal crown.

My path is lit by Love and Esteem
& I have nothing to hide within
I dont have much to lose on earth
Cuz all my wealth is held Above
Poor I may seem
But blessed iam indeed
For Iam a prince and my father's a King
