A Single Stroke

by Poet on the Piano   Apr 9, 2011

A single stroke and her frailties are forgotten,
brushed into a peaceful pool of imperfection
that becomes silent in his purified washing.
He has scripted a voice untainted
and unwilling to settle for low hope.
Shading her canopy of doubts
with quilted, tied patterns
she knows his heart is the only
light she can embrace- believe in.
Through their unending letters,
a marriage is defined deep and un-swaying,
for their warm hands reach beyond thought
and into the open, realness of language.
There are no words written to be told
for all his love is motioned through
blossoms of the heart.
