Moonlit

by Mary Daphne   Jul 21, 2011

Oh, city of fallen angels and love affair
purple words for thee in heaven's stair
holy spaces collide for her eternal grace
stars lean down to taste her tight embrace

she fell asleep when the summer is green
and turn my princess into a prodigal queen
she walks in rainbow with wild composure
and gasp the clouds with naughty gestures

she kissed the moon and let the sun sleep
reminisce the memories we merely keep
wide eyes that brightened the darkest shade
smiles from a fragile mouth where easily made

tonight my princess will be crowned
have lighter wings and leave the ground
fairytale would leave her a quaint romance
i do admire her for every fading glance

- it's actually from Zhen Caberoy
(it was his birthday present for me)
