Hello

by HollywoodSmile   Aug 18, 2011

Hello, my name is Holly.
I wear this skin
so that I may walk beside you,
so that I may play along,
so that I may fade away.

Here my home is silent.
I walk the street
so that I may learn to stand,
so that I may learn to smile,
so that I may learn to live.

Heaven, my friend, is empty.
I weave this web
so that I may show you truth,
so that I may steal security,
so that I may crawl beneath.

Hell, my friend, is simple.
I wonder through
so that I may shine in light,
so that I may sing to stars,
so that I may unzip my face.

This is defiantly an interesting piece. I like it, but the repetition just doesn't seem to fit. I think that this piece lacks emotion as well as something to feel. To me it seems as though this piece is nothing more than a bunch of random words jumbled together and made to look like a poem. I'm sorry to say this, but in all sincerity it is simply an opinion and I have read much of your work. I know that this is not your absolute best.
