Refusal

by Angel Raskym   Sep 2, 2011

This is the story of a man who loved
And from the endless ocean of passion
No human can leave unharmed
- - -
And about a story like this
I cannot use rare words, full of meanings
Cause I also see love as it is,
Simple and dangerous, a storm of feelings

That's how it was for him as well
He thought without love, a man is dead
Greedy filling his lungs with her smell
Praying to God, this will never end

But soon enough He took her away
Cause prays were words, he was the only one to hear
And as he saw her life fading away
There came the worst he should fear

The pain of lose drove him mad
And he refused this emptyness to face
His nightmares were all he had
Leading a wreck man, his old dreams to chase

He hugged her lifeless body with so much care
And deeply inside, he had a feeling
That his eternal love was still in there
Resting her soul while sleeping

Gave a kiss and then he whispered:
"Sleep well my love, and rest tonight
Don't be afraid, cause i swear to my life
Until you wake up, I won't leave by your side..."
