Careless whispers
Taunt my brain
Drowned in confusion
Can’t seem to get away.
Two candles that once burnt in unison
No longer carries the same flame.
The light we shared
In the dark, now sits dimly lit
Unexplored thoughts, deeply yearning wishes
Always brings forth unvisited memories

Keenly watching the candles
