Deja Vu

by Yakori bint Muhammed   Feb 6, 2012

2006.

The radiant blue-sky smiles wryly at the ocean.
Flowers singing the dirge to the grasses.
Caught at the sight of an unpleasant aura;
the sand swirls towards the pile of logs.
Deliriously, I walk in awe.

Swiftly, the blue sky turns lurid.
A fog lurks out of the oceans tide.
At the spur of the moment;
everywhere thickens in mist.
Cars bumping into one another
causing a scenario;
I stand watching in pity.

Everyone staggers in chaos.
In rage of fear, screams of kids filled the air.
The turnout was a pathetic
circumstance;
Oh! I cry for peace.

Sitting alone on the couch merrily.
Reminiscing what I thought was a dream.
A dream so real I thought was a reality.
Suddenly, with a spring I woke up from my slumber;
realizing everything was a Deja vu.

    Thanks TJ, i appreciate. I believe at times we all find ourselves somewhere at a particular time, without knowing we've been there before in our subconscious mind rather dreams precisely. :-).

    It's funny how you can seem to relive something that you felt you have done before without memory of it.
    excellent write, very clear in wording
