The wedding dress

by Ashley   Feb 11, 2012

Long white silk hanging in the window,
its beauty takes her breath away.
As they pass by she grips her lovers hand tighter as she sighs,
Their love flourished,
Their bony grew,
A few months passed, he called her father.

In the center of town one night,
He dropped to one knee,
People all around came to a hush,
Hearing him ask " will you marry me?"

The long white silk once displayed in a window,
Now drapes from her body,
It's beauty takes their breath away
And the grip on her fathers hand gets tighter as she sighs.

Very sweet and nice to read. Almost has one wishing on such a moment. I wish that comes true. The big moment is conveyed very well here.
