Forget her name

by ami   Feb 23, 2012

Forget her name, forget her face
Forget her kiss and her warm embrace
Forget the love that once came true
Remember now there's someone new,
Forget the love that we once shared
Forget the face that had once cared
Forget the time we spent together
Remember now she's gone forever,
Forget you cried the whole night through
Forget her when she play my song
Forget how close we two once were
Remember now she's chosen him,
Forget you memorized her walk
Forget the way she used to talk
Forget the times she was mad
Remember she's happy instead of sad,
Forget her teasing, gentle ways
Forget you saw her everyday
Forget she made my dreams come true
Remember now she loves him too,
Forget the thrill when she walked by
Forget her when she made me cry
Forget the way she spoke my name
Remember now she's not the same,
Forget the way she said she loved me
Forget the way she kissed and hugged me
Forget all those nights when she held me tight
Remember now she holds him tonight,
Forget all those sunny days
Forget all those poems she made
Forget those times through good and bad
Remember she said she'd never make him sad,
Forget the games she played with me
Forget the times she stayed with me
Forget those cold, cold nights
Remember now she keeps him warm tonight,
Forget the way she looked at me
Forget me kissed the whole night through
Forget all you dreams came true
REMEMBER, that she doesn't love me...♥

The rhymes flowed really well at the start, but became kind of shaky in the middle to the end.But I love the emotion of this piece, really sad..

On the first few lines you seemed to be speaking to someone--'you'
At the middle and end you seem to be speaking to yourself. And I realized you were sort of telling yourself that she's really gone and she's no longer yours..

Great piece. Just a few errors, but I enjoyed reading it :)
