To be continued

I stared into her face

i saw the beauty of her flaming hair, her full lips, the cheek bones in her face and her infectious smile

i stared into her eyes

i saw the wondrous soul that I have long forgot but still knew

we talked and talked

i stroked her flaming hair and held her soft hands

it was as though time stood still

we walked, laughed, joked, and behaved like carefree young lovers

the passion between us was overwhelming

we sat on a bench and talked about books and life and past loves

the passion between us was overwhelming

we sat on that bench and behaved like carefree young lovers

the passion between us was overwhelming

she laid her head on my lap, I stroked her hair

the passion between us was overwhelming

we kissed

the passion between us was overwhelming

i took her home and we said goodnight

the passion between us was overwhelming
the passion between us is overwhelming
