Show You in Color

by X Harlea X   Jul 28, 2012

The first time we met, I knew that it'd be,
Us against the world, just you and me.
Difficulties and problems color us blind,
But is challenged by our love so divine.

Solid as concrete, we stand together.
To love and honor, to cherish forever.
Started as friends and now here we are,
I can see that we've come so far.

For you, I'd challenge the world.
To face our demons, to the corner they curl.
You might see our love becoming duller,
But through your doubts I'll show you in color.

Awesome this has "song" all over it!

i literally started to sing this as i began reading lol the addition of color in the piece was an epic move, your rhyme scheme was consistent throughout and your word choice was great!!

i like the size of the piece too, not too long and not to short, sometimes the rhymes can wear thin on a long piece ( i should know ive written enough of them lol) but you nailed it in this write.

    really really loved it :-)
