A grown up, troubled teen.

Do you know how proud you'll make me
If you don't let this knock you down?
If you carry on adapting,
And try hard not to drown?

Do you know how much I love you?
Though it's not something we should say,
I care more for you than anyone
And I pray for you each day.

Do you realise how much it hurt,
When I heard the news that day?
How much I tried to defend you,
And beg them to let you stay?

I hope this won't destroy you,
I pray that you will see
That you are not meant to fail,
But be what you want to be.

One day I know you'll shock them
And they'll see what I have seen.
No thanks to them you'll make it,
A grown up, troubled teen.

Failure can be a turn around when you have support. I hope this young person knows how much faith you are willing to give.

    Hello,

An honest write that some could find controversial, but I find it beautiful to write about a pupil in this way. It is teachers like you that help children reach their potential.

    Well done,

    Michael
