Snake

by Biancas Veil   Apr 2, 2013

Such enchanting beauty
With such easy grace
When movement brings out colours that glisten like ice
You use your movements to entice

A Strong body of muscle
Deceptive in its strength
To watch the power you exert in a single strike
Your speed envied by beasts and men alike

A snake is not to be feared but respected we are why they need to be protected.

I can see the passion you have for snakes. Wonderful poem about something you love. The flow and rhyming were beautiful. I loved the last line to wrap up the whole poem. 5/5
