All Day Along

by Durlabh Singh   Apr 28, 2013

ALL DAY ALONG.

All day along
The wind has been
Whispering to me
To explore
The leaning buds
On the stony floors.

Instructing me
To burst forth
Into some nascent song
Beyond things explored
Dowering of a melody
From nightingale's throat
An incentive to gravity
Or soul stirred brevity.

Where the dusk spies
In a hidden scry
And the passions slips
Into a sudden grip
Then the twilight tries
To gather depths of the night.

I think the formatting of your poem, the structure, was beautiful, it flowed very well together and made every line seem lyrical in a way. The wind is very inspiring and influential. Whether it's howling or brushing us in a soft breeze, if we listen, we can feel at peace. It is sometimes like it is whispering to us, giving us maybe a hidden message. Love this moment of pure joy, how it is pushing you to explore, be yourself, delve deeper into your soul..

    "From nightingale's throat
    An incentive to gravity
    Or soul stirred brevity."

    - Awesome word choice here! It was clever and thoughtful.... an incentive to gravity makes me think look beyond what we have come to accept and see, and know why we do what we do.

I liked the different perspective you brought up in the end, it was beautiful how you expressed the passage of time and the almost secretive ways of the dark, how there is still depth to be found.

    Neat write, keep writing!
