Summer is warm sunshine
and endless freedom.
Summer is basking in the sun
enjoying some long overdue fun.
Summer is playing in the park
and swimming in the lake.
Summer is catching fireflies
and eating watermelon.
Summer is for romance and for sharing stories
around an old Oak tree.
Summer is vacations and beautiful fireworks
on the 4th of July,
