Reflections

by silvershoes   Jul 21, 2016

I love him more now,
but I loved you more than I'll ever love.

I take it back.
Saying those words sends my heart
shredding
my head, pounding
chest, aching
eyes, pouring

I will always love you most.
Always.

I was going to break this down, but i'll leave it where it is. Amazingly well written and applicable to many interpretations, I really love the openness of it. great write!

I can really relate to the feeling.
I love and adore my Donuts and my Cartier,

but I had a dog named Pototi who was half stray/half chow chow... I had for about 7 years, and one day I woke up and found her dead.

i never loved any pet like I loved her.
I also had a cat named Banshee once, my cousin broke her neck in a door the same day i got her, but i healed her with my own hands..and she grew so beautifully, and I think it had so much to do with how much time i put into healing her when no one thought she would live. but she did. she had a homemade neckbrace..lol.. i had to feed her with one of those thingies that u put vaccines in, i took such care of her..
and then i found her dead outside too..
and i got other cats, but it was never the same.

..I think we all have one pet that will always have our heart, and everything else is just to fill to void.

    ..sending you big hugs.

on an other note ; I love that the poem is so open to interpretation, it could be out to be, whatever the reader wants it to be. that's always so beautiful.

Your intuition is incredible. Yes, it is about Milo (and Beau).

A sincere and honest write about knowing you have fallen in love again but that your first love is the strongest, always. My thoughts anyway.
