    Ah, the stand off game of love's greatest need - to be wanted at least as much as to want. Also, the stuff we make up to explain what is not known for certain. He could be detained, interrupted, in a coma, even dead, but no these are not likely and you know it. So, the obvious is accepted: he's waiting for you as well as you waiting for him. If you were fifty you'd simply call and ask what's up.

      Ha! Yes, Larry, I guess when we mature we will leave this petty argument in our minds as to call or not to call because by that time we would have known greatly what a waste of time it is. I don't know why even if love is certain the heart still paddles in uncertainty, always making sure and asking a lot of what ifs. Will it hurt if you go and ask first? Is it because you are quite unsure or because you want to please yourself and wait for the other to move. People love to feel they are wanted. :-)

    I can relate to this poem... many times in my life..
    Larry's correct, as you get older
    you realize its better to just go for it... boom say it- life is too short!~
