Light

by Mortal Utopia   Nov 21, 2017

I still remember
the silken strands of sunlight
weaving through the rainbow –
lighting your eyes
a thousand colours.

I still remember
how it almost hid your tears
as you reached out towards the sun
with your hand all blurred and fading –
as it disappeared into the light.
