My Home

by Some Random Human   Jan 5, 2018

Have I lost my desire,
upon this lonely road,
oh, do I dare enquire,
why you left me alone,
well, I have felt the fire,
and I have lived a slave,
but I will soon retire,
in a hole they'll call my grave,

Oh, it's cold,
and it's dark,
and I feel so alone,
in this hole,
there's no heart,
but it is still my home,

Does this make you a liar,
you said that you'd be here,
why must I get your ire,
why did you disappear,
well, I have felt the fire,
and I have died a slave,
now that I have retired,
in this hole known as my grave,

Oh, it's cold,
and it's dark,
and I feel so alone,
in this hole,
there's no heart,
but it is still my home,

And I have felt the fire,
and I have lived a slave,
now finally I retire,
in this home you call my grave...
