Home?

by Courtney Hough   Apr 18, 2018

Home,
Where is it?
Is it even really there,
Or is it just my imagination?
It’s just my imagination.
Where I am now is not for me.
Never was never will be.
That’s not something you can make up,
No matter how hard,
How long,
How much you push on.
You cannot fit in where you never did belong.
See there is no use in trying,
When your soul is already dying.
You cannot fix what is broken if it cannot stay whole,
So just let me go.

Aw. Courtney I love how you've expressed 'home' as a place in your heart rather than a physical dwelling and I agree with you 100% ... if your heart doesn't feel it, then you'll never fit in. A fab write! :-) x
