How the Blues Taste

The memory of oceans
lingers in her eyes,
where the blue tastes like tears.
The memory of oceans
swims in the glazing eyes
within the aquarium of your iris,
where the oceans have gone,
taking all their aquatics with them.

But the eyes remain,
living on—
full of oceans,
full of memories
of shoreless tears.
