So Dead Inside

I've never been conceited
I've never been the one to judge
I've never been hateful
and I've never been the one to critique because...

I know how it feels to be told whats wrong with me
and I know how it feels to be apologetic for not being the person someone wanted you to be
I know how it feels to not get a good night's sleep
and I know how it feels when you have to take out the knife and cut it in deep
I know how it feels to try and block out the world
and I know how it feels to be referred to as "That Emo Girl"
I know how it feels when guys wont look your way
and I know how it feels to want your pain to go away

I know how it feels when you think everyone is against you
and I know how it feels when people try to make you happy when they don't know what you've been through
I know how it feels to be push aside
and I know how it feels to be so dead inside..
