You caught my eye, so loving and tender
You looked like the type to be my hearts mender
I fell for you as you did for me
I knew from the first kiss, our love would be

We spent every undying moment together
From rain to shine, all kinds of weather
I trusted you with my life
You even made plans for me to be your wife

Now thats all memories, lost in the past
For our love, did not last
I tried and tried to be so strong
But you kept telling me that our love was wrong

Stop telling me our love isn't real
I'm losing all senses to feel
I find myself lost in your embrace
When all I want to do is slap your face

You said we could be, but you lied
All you did was took my heart for a ride
I lay here, oh so ashamed
When it's you who I blamed

All along, I thought it was you
Why this love ended, I thought I knew
Now I know it's me who is wrong
No where to go, no love to feel like I belong
