Goodbye Cousin

by lindzy   Jun 15, 2005

Turn away, don't look back
Use the strength that you don't lack
A young girls death upon our soul
When God reached down, her life he stole
In that car, in the mist of the night
So that no one was there to hear her plight
Everyone must some time go
Sherra, to you, these kisses I blow
All of us will one day die
Sherra, cousin, here's my goodbye
A more beautiful girl there never was
If you only knew what your death does
It hurts to know you'll never be here
It rips us in two that your not near
Your in heaven, and there you reside
But that your there this early, hurts us inside
You were always laughing, at everything
You loved to dance, to play and to sing
Your big brown eyes always filled with glee
Your happiness evident, everyone could see
So using the strength that you dont lack
Turn away and don't look back!
