Silent Plea to My MIA Mother

Is it selfish to think
You turned away without a blink
You left me aside
My presence you hide

endless it seems
the depth of my dreams
a glismpse of your face
then morning overtakes

what must it feel
does it even seem real
do you cry in the night
does my vision burn bright

was it the best you could do
bit off more than you could chew
did you do it for me
did that choice set you free

If you care what I feel
I"ll tell you whats real
Abandonment kills
My whole life it has filled

Maybe you did me a favor
Maybe I've missed your my Saviour
Would it have all been so wrong
If you took me on

Were you cursed from day one
Did your baggage weigh a ton
Was it too much to bear
The thought of me there

I guess I'll never know
If are love would of flowed
Could of been my best friend
But you chose it to end
