Drowning in tears

The moment you told me you loved me,
I thanked god so long that it hurt,
I felt much more beautiful,
I was on a floating cloud.

The moments we had together,
I treasured in my heart,
The happiness that you brang to me,
I kept inside my soul.

I remembered everything that happened that day,
I remembered the bird's call,
I remember you loving the girl,
The way you used to love me.

A knife slashed me, hurt me, killed me,
You don't know how much you meant to me,
You were the reason that I lived,
You were my sun, shining love and light in my life.

A thousand tears I've cried for you,
All that I do now is cry,
The tears roll off my cheeks,
And break into pieces like me.

I can not get over the hurt,
I build a bridge to get over the hurt,
With the tears under the bridge.

I finish building the bridge,
I start walking over,
The bridge collapses under my feet,
I am helpless, drowning, drowning..

I try to swim but fail,
