One river of tears

by Kelli   Nov 18, 2005

One river of tears flowed down her cheek,
for some reason she was feeling so weak,
she didnt know what to she wanted,
long lost memories was what she haunted.

one river of tears flowed down her cheek,
they flowed so gently dont the running creek,
her heart broken one last time,
she needed a new reason to shine,

one river of tears flowed down her cheek,
she had been like this for a week,
she searched for the answers lost inside,
but so sadly all they did was hide.

one river of tears flowed down her cheek,
for some reason she was feeling so weak,
she didnt know what she wanted,
long lost memories was what she haunted.

one river of tears flowed down her cheek,
something insider her she needed to seek,
she\'s been searching for traces of who she was,
but there\'s nothing left of what she has.

one river of blood flowed down her skin,
she needed a symbolism of pain but she felt like it was a sin,
she thought some more and figured it out,
love was pain, pain is love,
she looked up and what she saw was a dove.

as she cleansed her skin the blood faded away,
it became a new day,
for once she thought she was going to be okay,
she went home and called him even thought she didnt know what to say.

the tears faded away too,
she knew exactly what she had to do,
she had to move on,
it was harder then she thought though,
once you think your feelings are never gonna change, they do, then you dont know what you put yourself through.

so everything washed away,
but for the lost memories,
for one reason they will stay.
