The Right Way Out?

by Fernanda   Dec 7, 2005

Put your hands in the air and drop the gun.
No, don't throw all your nothing away by pulling a trigger.
Keep alive the hope that better days will come.

There's no need for another regret, another knot
That can't be undone.
A simple act done by the pulling of a single finger.
Right now, put your hands in the air and drop that gun.

Wait and believe in a tomorrow that seems to be gone.
Think of how angry God would be, my dear.
Just keep alive the hope that better days will come.

Time flies by anyway, it won't be too long.
Dry out the floor that is now wet with tears.
And put your hands in the air and drop the gun.

Hold tight until the end of the end and be strong.
Endure and know that sooner or later the sky will clear.
Please, don't forget to hope that better days will come.

Right now everything in your mind is blurry and wrong.
Scream and pray to the angels above, they'll hear.
But, please! Put your hands in the air and drop that damn gun.
Always keep alive the hope that better days will come.
