WHY?

I don't understand everyone's issue
Can't they see I want to be with you?
They all say you're not good enough for me
I don't know why they'd say such a thing

Why is everyone trying to break us up?
Can't they all see that we are deeply in love?
They can do all they want to do
It will not change the way I feel about you

They all need to just leave us alone
This is only making our love grow strong
Please ignore all that they are saying
They're just jealous of our happiness

This was a poem I wrote to my boyfriend because my family was giving me a realy hard time about him and other people were saying things that weren't true for the simple fact that I wanted to spend a lot of time with him and not with them as often.
